Chasing Ice este "povestea unui om ce si-a asumat misiunea de a schimba cursul istoriei, prin colectarea de dovezi de necontestat ale modificarilor climatice". " Ancheta" lui James Balog si a echipei sale pe gheata a capturat imagini dramatice: 7 km cubi de gheata arctica s-au prabusit in ocean chiar sub ochii lor. Fenomenul a durat 75 de minute si pelicula a devenit cel mai asteptat film documentar al anului.
